Welcome to TelegramFD! We highly value your personal privacy and data security. This Privacy Policy is intended to explain how we handle your information when you use our software, TelegramFD (hereinafter referred to as "the Software").

Core Principle: TelegramFD is a client-side tool. All your data, including account information, downloaded files, and settings, resides only on your own computer. We do not collect, store, or upload any of your personal data.

1. No Collection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

We adhere to the core principle of "Privacy by Design."

  • The Software does not actively collect, store, or upload any information that can personally identify you, such as your name, email address, phone number, or geographic location.
  • Your Telegram account information (such as phone number, API ID/Hash) is used solely for authentication through the official Telegram API. This process occurs directly between your local computer and Telegram's servers. We cannot access, record, or transmit your login credentials.

2. Local Data Processing

TelegramFD is a pure client-side tool; all your data and operations are processed locally on your personal computer.

  • Downloaded Files: All files you download from Telegram are stored only in the local hard drive location you specify. We do not upload these files to any of our servers or other cloud services.
  • Message Text: If you choose to save text messages, these .txt files are likewise stored only on your local computer.
  • Settings & Task Lists: All your configuration information, such as the number of download threads, file type filters, and download task history, is saved only within the program folder on your local computer.

3. Communication with Telegram Servers

To enable download functionality, the Software needs to communicate with Telegram's official servers.

  • All communications follow Telegram's official MTProto encryption protocol to ensure the security of data during transmission.
  • The Software's behavior pattern is similar to the official Telegram client, acting only as a "bridge" between you and the Telegram servers to request and receive data you are authorized to access. We do not act as a middleman to intercept or decrypt your communications.

4. Logs and Diagnostic Information

To help troubleshoot issues and improve the software, the Software may generate runtime log files on your local computer.

  • These log files may contain program execution status, error messages, and basic metadata of download tasks, but do not contain your private message content or personally identifiable information.
  • These log files are stored only on your local computer. We cannot access them unless you choose to actively send them to us for technical support.

5. Third-Party Services

The Software does not integrate any third-party advertisements or user behavior analysis SDKs. Our only external network requests (excluding Telegram servers) may be used for:

  • Software Update Checks: The Software may periodically connect to our official server to check for new version releases. This process is anonymous and does not send any personal information.

6. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our software's functionality or requirements of laws and regulations. We will post notice of any significant changes on our official website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for the latest information.
